Our Covid-19 policies:

With guidance changing day-to-day and a relaxation on restrictions happening nationwide, it’s up to each of us to decide how best to spend our time when out and about. As such, this page is dedicated to alleviating any worries you might have by joining us at The Bank this summer! We’re doing everything we can to make sure everyone’s going to feel safe and relaxed. Because if we’re not having a bit of fun, what’s all this for?

 

So, here’s some general pointers for the days and weeks ahead when you’re joining us:

 

Bookings

When you enquire for a booking or turn up at our door, we’ll ask you for some basic contact details (just your name and phone number). This is so we can keep a short-term record of who came through our doors in the event of a confirmed case of COVID-19. That way we can assist everyone in taking the next best steps as well as helping the NHS with tracking and tracing. We’ll also ask for the time you’d like to join us and the number of your party. This is so we can organise the flow of people coming and going on any given day and make sure as much as people get to enjoy our company!

We also have a QR code system in place for walk-ins to scan and register their details at our entrance. These details are kept for a maximum of 21 days before being deleted from the database.

 

Rule of Six

As of the 14th September, we won’t be able to accept bookings for parties greater than six. We also won’t be accepting reservations of greater than 6 across multiple tables or for functions/venue-hire.

We also ask that, for the time being, you consider who you’ll be coming with when you come along. This means minimising contact up to a maximum of two households. Uncle Dave from your mam’s side? He can come along! But Sharon from the knitting group? She’s out. Sorry Sharon. There is currently no limit for the amount of households who can meet outside (in our Beer Garden for example), but this is limited to groups of 6 people or less.

 

Procedures

We’ll also be organising our venue to reduce risks of transmission as much as possible. We have a one-way system around the building, hand-washing and anti-bacterial stations, table service and social distancing between separate parties and staff alike. We’ll be closely monitoring the guidance from government and institutions like the World Health Organisation to determine whether these policies can be relaxed or not as the weeks continue. We’ll also be updating this page with any relevant information to our COVID-19 policies, so check back if you have any concerns if guidance changes in the coming months.
